What’s your day-to-day like at PFM?

My workday always begins with a thorough review of all data alerts generated by our system. This step is crucial for identifying potential issues early and addressing them promptly. For instance, if a sensor fails due to problems at a specific location, I immediately contact the client to assess the situation and discuss the appropriate follow-up actions. Throughout the day, I support our technicians with the calibration and configuration of sensors. This process requires great precision to ensure we collect reliable and accurate data from our systems. In addition to sensor installations, I perform ongoing quality checks, carefully analysing any data irregularities.

Currently, my primary focus is on improving overall data quality across PFM. This is a comprehensive undertaking in which I evaluate every aspect of our data infrastructure to identify opportunities for optimisation. What I particularly value about working at PFM is the recognition and appreciation for dedication and effort.
