PFM Pulse is a building occupancy analytics application provided by PFM Global Holding B.V. This page explains how you can request deletion of your PFM Pulse account and the personal data associated with it.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time, without reinstalling the app, using either of the methods below:

  1. Support request form (recommended): submit a deletion request through our web form.

  2. By email: send a request to privacy@pfm-intelligence.com from the email address linked to your PFM Pulse account.

You can also start this request from within the app, via Settings → Account → Delete account, which links to this page.

What gets deleted

When we process your request, we delete:

  • Your authentication account and profile held in AWS Cognito (email, name and phone number where provided, and verification status)

  • Sign-in security records associated with your account (authentication events, device information, IP address and derived location)

  • Personal data linked to your user account in our backend systems

Data stored locally on your device (cached settings, site data and statistics) can be removed at any time by clearing the app cache in Settings or by uninstalling the app.

What we may retain

Aggregated building occupancy data (counting statistics) is not personal data and is processed by PFM on behalf of our client, who is the data controller for that data; it is not deleted as part of an app-user account deletion. We may also retain limited information where we are legally required to do so (for example to meet tax, accounting or security obligations), for the minimum period required, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Timescale

We confirm receipt of your request and complete the deletion within the statutory period (within one month of a verified request). If your request is complex, we may extend this by up to two further months and will let you know.
