About the role
We are looking for a Senior BI Specialist to strengthen our Data & Insights team.
In this role you will design and develop Business Intelligence solutions that help our teams and clients make smarter decisions. You will work with complex datasets, develop scalable Power BI dashboards and translate data into insights that drive real business impact.
You will also collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries and help shape the future of PFM’s BI capability.
What you'll do
Build and develop BI solutions
Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
Create robust and scalable data models.
Continuously optimise reporting and analytical tools.
Turn data into insight
Analyse complex datasets and identify trends and opportunities.
Translate data into clear, actionable insights for the business.
Support teams across the organisation with data-driven decision making.
Support PFM’s BI roadmap
Contribute to the development and execution of the BI roadmap.
Lead assigned BI initiatives from concept to delivery.
Help improve reporting standards and analytical capability.
Collaborate across the organisation
Work closely with international teams and stakeholders.
Share knowledge and help guide less experienced analysts.
What you'll bring
HBO level (or equivalent) working and thinking level
3–5 years’ experience in a Business Intelligence or analytics role
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modelling
Solid understanding of data modelling principles and BI best practices
The ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
A structured, analytical and quality-driven working style
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to have
Experience with SQL
Experience with Microsoft Fabric
Knowledge of AWS environments
Experience working with retail, mobility or smart city data
Who you are
You are an analytical and structured professional who enjoys working with complex datasets and turning them into meaningful insights. You speak fluent Dutch and English and you combine technical BI expertise with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into clear reporting and dashboards.
You are proactive, curious and collaborative. You enjoy working with colleagues across teams and countries, and you take pride in building reliable, scalable data solutions that help organisations make better decisions.
You are comfortable taking ownership of projects, while also supporting and guiding less experienced colleagues when needed.
