We enhanced drive-thru communication in 346 UK Starbucks stores by installing HME audio systems, ensuring clear and precise order exchanges between customers and the kitchen staff.
Drive timer system
We have introduced sensors to monitor the time it takes from a customer's arrival at the speaker post to payment and order handover. This helps us identify areas where we can speed up service, improving both business efficiency and customer experience.
Service gamification
By tracking service times and using a software upgrade to gamify the metrics, we've enabled stores to view and compare their performance, creating a competitive yet fun environment. This approach motivates staff to improve service speed, increasing overall efficiency.
